What a 99Exch ID is, in plain terms

Strip away the jargon and a 99Exch ID is an account. Username, password, a balance attached to it, and a history of everything you have placed. The word ID is used instead of account because that is the vocabulary the whole exchange scene in India settled on years ago, and it stuck.

What makes it different from an account on an ordinary website is who creates it. There is no signup button on 99Exch that emails you a confirmation link. Split 99Exch balances are harder to track, and the the second account always ends up neglected, so the honest question of whether you are up or down over three months becomes genuinely difficult to answer. Two agents means two deposit routes and two payout conversations. And the discipline that comes from watching a single number go down does not work when the number is spread across two places.

The one situation where a second 99Exch ID makes sense is a practical one: your original agent has become unreachable and you need to keep playing.
